Vivien Moon
Although I'm Russian, I grew up in Dubai and got an undergrad in Journalism at the University of Nevada, Reno. What I love about fashion is the freedom of self expression and the drive behind the business because everybody is in the business of fashion. I realized my desire to pursue a graduate degree in fashion journalism when studying in London and it's something I truly enjoy being a part of. Outside of fashion, I love fitness and cooking healthy meals as well as traveling as much as I can. In the future I hope to see myself working in Dubai for a print publication and to hopefully become an editor.
Previously I've interned for Harper's Bazaar Art Arabia and Time Out Abu Dhabi.
Nicole Velazquez
My name is Nicole Velazquez otherwise known as Nikki. I am a proud Puerto Rican that was born and raised in New York City. I have been interested in fashion ever since I can remember, it has always been a passion of mine.
In 2011 I graduated SUNY Purchase College with a degree in journalism. Right after that I took the opposite route and became a visual merchandiser. I started my merchandising career in Zara and after that I continued in stores such as Armani Exchange and Urban Outfitters. In between that I have also interned in 2 fashion PR firms, RedLight P.R. and Marie Saeki P.R.
The decision to leave NYC and come to San Francisco was based on my love for fashion and journalism and finally finding a program that can teach me the skills that I need and hands on experience that I will be able to use in the long run.
